Lent Loot Collection: Fill the Ark--Heifer International

Posted by church media office on March 6, 2018 at 11:20 AM

This Lenten Season our Mission Committee has chosen Heifer International's Fill the Ark program as the receipient of our collected loose change (and bills) for 2018.  You can bring your collected change in and put it in the bucket in the back of the sanctuary at any time.  The more money collected, the larger the abnimal we can donate to the neediest families throughout the world.  These farm animals can provide both food and a cash income for families in need.  Those who receive animals are asked to share the offspring of that animal with another neighbor in need, so that ultimately many families can benefit.  This unique approach creates a ripple effect that transforms lives and communities.  Check out our hallway bulletin board chart to see our progress!
